12 And he sent and brought him in. Now he was (A)ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the Lord said, (B)“Arise, anoint him, for this is he.” 13 Then Samuel took (C)the horn of oil (D)and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. (E)And the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon David from that day forward. And Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

12 So he(A) sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome(B) features.
Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”
13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed(C) him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord(D) came powerfully upon David.(E) Samuel then went to Ramah.
