26 And Saul also went to his house to Gibeah; and there went with him the [a]host, whose hearts God had touched. 27 But certain worthless fellows said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no present. [b]But he held his peace.

26 Saul also went to his home in Gibeah,(A) accompanied by valiant men(B) whose hearts God had touched. 27 But some scoundrels(C) said, “How can this fellow save us?” They despised him and brought him no gifts.(D) But Saul kept silent.
