²⁵ Then ^(A)they ^[a]slaughtered the bull, and ^(B)brought the boy to Eli. ²⁶ And she said, “Pardon me, my lord! ^(C)As your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you, praying to the Lord. ^27 (D)For this boy I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my request which I asked of Him.
