10 She was (A)deeply distressed and prayed to the Lord and wept bitterly. 11 And she (B)vowed a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed (C)look on the affliction of your servant and (D)remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, (E)and no razor shall touch his head.”
12 As she continued praying before the Lord, Eli observed her mouth.

Psalm 127:3-5

3 Behold, (A)children are a heritage from the Lord,
(B)the fruit of the womb a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of (C)a warrior
are the children[a] of one's youth.
5 Blessed is the man
who fills his quiver with them!
He shall not be put to shame
when he speaks with his enemies (D)in the gate.[b]
