21 Icoana(A) aceasta închipuitoare vă mântuieşte acum pe voi, şi anume botezul, care nu este o curăţire de întinăciunile(B) trupeşti, ci(C) mărturia unui cuget curat înaintea lui Dumnezeu, prin învierea(D) lui Isus Hristos, 22 care(E) stă la dreapta lui Dumnezeu după ce S-a înălţat la cer şi Şi-a supus(F) îngerii, stăpânirile şi puterile.

21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you(A) also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience(B) toward God.[a] It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,(C) 22 who has gone into heaven(D) and is at God’s right hand(E)—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.(F)
