1 Peter 4:15-17
Legacy Standard Bible
15 Make sure that (A)none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a [a](B)troublesome meddler; 16 but if anyone suffers as a (C)Christian, he is not to be put to shame, but is to (D)glorify God in this name. 17 For it is time for judgment (E)to begin [b]with (F)the house of God; and if it (G)begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those (H)who do not obey the (I)gospel of God?

New International Version
15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.(A) 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household;(B) and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?(C)
