1 Peter 2:22-25

New International Version

²³ When they hurled their insults at him,^(C) he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats.^(D) Instead, he entrusted himself^(E) to him who judges justly.^{(F) 24} “He himself bore our sins”^(G) in his body on the cross,^(H) so that we might die to sins^(I) and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”^{(J) 25} For “you were like sheep going astray,”^[b](K) but now you have returned to the Shepherd^(L) and Overseer of your souls.^(M)
