⁶⁵ At that time Solomon held ^(A)a feast, and all Israel with him, a great assembly from ^(B)the entrance of Hamath to ^(C)the Brook of Egypt, before the Lord our God, ^(D)seven days and seven more days—fourteen days. ^66 (E)On the eighth day he sent the people away; and they ^[a]blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the good that the Lord had done for His servant David, and for Israel His people.

⁹ And on the eighth day they held a ^(A)sacred assembly, for they observed the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days. ^10 (B)On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the good that the Lord had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel. ¹¹ Thus ^(C)Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the Lord and in his own house.
