1 Kings 8:5-7

⁵Also King Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel who were assembled with him, were with him before the ark, ^(A)sacrificing sheep and oxen that could not be counted or numbered for multitude. ⁶Then the priests ^(B)brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to ^(C)its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, ^(D)under the wings of the cherubim. ⁷For the cherubim spread their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles.

⁶And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

⁷For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
