¹⁸ The cedar panelling inside the temple was carved with ornamental gourds^(A) and flower blossoms. Everything was cedar;^(B) not a stone could be seen.

¹⁹ He prepared the inner sanctuary^(C) inside the temple to put the ark of the Lord’s covenant^(D) there. ²⁰ The interior of the sanctuary was nine metres long, nine metres wide, and nine metres high; he overlaid it with pure gold.^(E) He also overlaid the cedar altar.
