³⁰ Solomon’s wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all ^(A)the ^[a]people of the east and ^(B)all the wisdom of Egypt. ³¹ For ^(C)he was wiser than all other people, more than ^(D)Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, ^(E)Calcol, and ^[b]Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his ^[c]fame was known in all the surrounding nations. ^32 (F)He also told three thousand proverbs, and his songs numbered 1,005.
