²⁴ For he ruled in all the region on the other side of the river, from Tiphsah to Gaza, over all the kings on the other side the river. And he had peace all around him on every side.

²⁵ And Judah and Israel dwelt without fear, each man under his vine, and under his fig tree, from Dan to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

²⁶ And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
