7 And now, Lord my God, (A)You have made Your servant king in place of my father David, yet (B)I am like a little boy; (C)I do not know how to [a]go out or come in. 8 And (D)Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, (E)a great people who are too many to be numbered or counted. 9 So (F)give Your servant [b]an understanding heart to judge Your people, (G)to discern between good and evil. For who is capable of judging this [c]great people of Yours?”

10 Now [d]it was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.
