1 Kings 10:19-21

¹⁹There were six steps to the throne and a round top to the throne at its back, and ^[a]armrests ^[b]on each side of the seat, and two lions standing beside the ^[c]armrests. ²⁰Twelve lions were standing there on the six steps on the one side and on the other; nothing like it was made for ^[d]any other kingdom. ²¹Now all King Solomon’s drinking utensils were of gold, and all the utensils of the house of the timber of Lebanon were of pure gold. None was of silver; it was not considered as amounting to anything in the days of Solomon.

²⁰And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.

Nothing like it had ever been made for any other kingdom. ²¹All King Solomon’s goblets were gold, and all the household articles in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold.^(A) Nothing was made of silver, because silver was considered of little value in Solomon’s days.
