²⁴ you have kept with your servant David my father what you declared to him. ^(A)You spoke with your mouth, and with your hand have fulfilled it this day.

^16 (A)And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me.^{[a] (B)}Your throne shall be established forever.’”

¹⁵ And he said, ^(A)“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hand has fulfilled ^(B)what he promised with his mouth to David my father, saying,

^12 (A)When your days are fulfilled and ^(B)you lie down with your fathers, ^(C)I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

¹⁴ and said, “O Lord, God of Israel, ^(A)there is no God like you, in heaven or on earth, ^(B)keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart, ^15 (C)who have kept with your servant David my father what you declared to him. You spoke with your mouth, and with your hand have fulfilled it this day.
