³⁵ And the battle continued that day, and the king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, until at evening he died. And the blood of the wound flowed into the bottom of the chariot.

²⁸ And Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, ^(A)the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said, ^(B)“Hear, all you peoples!”

⁴² And he said to him, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have let go out of your hand the man whom I had devoted to destruction,^[a] therefore ^(A)your life shall be for his life, and your people for his people.’”
