³³ And he ^(A)put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood, and said, “Fill four waterpots with water, and ^(B)pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood.”

⁹ Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and ^(A)laid him on the altar, upon the wood.

²⁰ The Angel of God said to him, “Take the meat and the unleavened bread and ^(A)lay them on this rock, and ^(B)pour out the broth.” And he did so.

⁶ And he shall ^(A)skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. ⁷ The sons of Aaron the priest shall put ^(B)fire on the altar, and ^(C)lay the wood in order on the fire. ⁸ Then the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar;

³³ But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. ³⁴ But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately ^(A)blood and water came out.

³⁹ Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”

Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”

⁴⁰ Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would ^(A)see the glory of God?”

²⁵ “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, ^(A)walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like ^(B)the^[a] Son of God.”

¹⁹ Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.
