1 John 5:4-8

⁴For ^[a]whoever has been ^(A)born of God ^(B)overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.

⁵Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who ^(C)believes that Jesus is the Son of God? ⁶This is the One who came ^(D)by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not ^[b]with the water only, but ^[c]with the water and ^[d]with the blood. It is ^(E)the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. ⁷For there are ^(F)three that testify: ⁸^[e]the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are ^[f]in agreement.
