1 John 4:18-20

¹⁸ There is no fear in love; but ^(A)perfect love casts out fear, because fear ^[a]involves punishment, and the one who fears is not ^(B)perfected in love. ^19 (C)We love, because He first loved us. ^20 (D)If someone says, “I love God,” and ^(E)hates his brother, he is a ^(F)liar; for ^(G)the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, ^(H)cannot love God whom he has not seen.
