15 Sin embargo, si el que no es creyente se separa, que se separe; en tales casos el hermano o la hermana no están obligados[a], sino que Dios nos[b] ha llamado para vivir en paz(A). 16 Pues ¿cómo sabes tú, mujer, si salvarás a tu marido? ¿O cómo sabes tú, marido, si salvarás a tu mujer(B)?
Andad en la voluntad de Dios
17 Fuera de esto[c], según el Señor ha asignado a cada uno(C), según Dios llamó a cada cual, así ande. Y esto ordeno en todas las iglesias(D).

15 Pero si el incrédulo se separa, sepárese; pues no está el hermano o la hermana sujeto a servidumbre en semejante caso, sino que a paz nos llamó Dios. 16 Porque ¿qué sabes tú, oh mujer, si quizá harás salvo a tu marido? ¿O qué sabes tú, oh marido, si quizá harás salva a tu mujer?
17 Pero cada uno como el Señor le repartió, y como Dios llamó a cada uno, así haga; esto ordeno en todas las iglesias.

15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.(A) 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save(B) your husband?(C) Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
Concerning Change of Status
17 Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them.(D) This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.(E)
