7 Laakiin dad oo dhammu aqoontaas ma wada laha, laakiin qaar sanamka tan iyo hadda u bartay, waxay u qabaan waxay cunaan sidii wax sanam loo sadqeeyo, qalbigooda itaalka daranina wuu nijaasoobay. 8 Cuntadu ina hor joojin mayso Ilaah. New International Version
6 yet for us there is but one God,(A) the Father,(B) from whom all things came(C) and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord,(D) Jesus Christ, through whom all things came(E) and through whom we live.
7 But not everyone possesses this knowledge.(F) Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak,(G) it is defiled. 8 But food does not bring us near to God;(H) we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
1 Corinthians 8:6-8
King James Version
6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.

English Standard Version
6 yet (A)for us there is one God, the Father, (B)from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and (C)one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and (D)through whom we exist.
7 However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, (E)through former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and (F)their conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 (G)Food will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do.
