1 Corinthians 7:25-27

²⁵ Now concerning virgins, I have no Commandment of the Lord. But I give my advice, as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be faithful.

²⁶ Because of this present constraint, I assume that it is good, and that it is good for anyone to be so.

²⁷ Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife.
