2 Upon some Sunday, let every one of you put aside at home and lay up whatever he thinks meet, so that there will be no gatherings when I come. 3 When I have come, whomever you may approve by your letters, them I will send to bring your gift to Jerusalem. 4 And if it seems that I should go, they may go with me.

New International Version
2 On the first day of every week,(A) each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.(B) 3 Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve(C) and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 4 If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.
