¹⁹ If we are ones having hoped in Christ in this life only, we are more pitiable^[a] than all people.

But Christ Has Been Raised As The Firstfruit of Those Yet To Be Raised

²⁰ But now, Christ has been raised from the dead— the firstfruit^[b] of the ones having fallen-asleep. ²¹ For since death came through a man, the resurrection of dead ones also came through a man.
