²² Their father Ephraim cried for them many days, and his family came to comfort him. ²³ Then he had sexual relations with his wife again. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son whom Ephraim named Beriah^[a] because of the trouble that had happened to his family. ²⁴ Ephraim’s daughter was Sheerah. She built Lower Beth Horon, Upper Beth Horon, and Uzzen Sheerah.
