Genealogy of Issachar(A)
7 The four descendants of Issachar included[a] Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron. 2 Tola’s descendants included Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, leaders of their ancestral house of Tola, who were valiant warriors during their lifetimes. During the life of David, they numbered 22,600.

7 The sons of Issachar were (B)Tola, [a]Puah, [b]Jashub, and Shimron—four in all. 2 The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father’s house. The sons of Tola were mighty men of valor in their generations; (C)their number in the days of David was twenty-two thousand six hundred.
