¹⁶ Their sisters were Zeruiah^(A) and Abigail. Zeruiah’s^(B) three sons were Abishai, Joab^(C) and Asahel. ¹⁷ Abigail was the mother of Amasa,^(D) whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

¹⁸ Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah (and by Jerioth). These were her sons: Jesher, Shobab and Ardon.
