1 Chronicles 18:12-14

Amplified Bible

¹² Also Abishai the son of Zeruiah [David’s half sister] defeated 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt. ¹³ He put military outposts in Edom, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. Thus the Lord helped David wherever he went.

¹⁴ So David reigned over all Israel and administered justice and righteousness for all his people.
