1 Chronicles 14:12-14

12 The Philistines left[a] their idols[b] there, so David ordered that they be burned.
13 The Philistines again raided the valley. 14 So David again asked God what he should do.[c] This time[d] God told him, “Don’t march up after them; circle around them and come against them in front of the trees.[e]

12 The Philistines had abandoned their gods there, and David gave orders to burn(A) them in the fire.(B)
13 Once more the Philistines raided the valley;(C) 14 so David inquired of God again, and God answered him, “Do not go directly after them, but circle around them and attack them in front of the poplar trees.
