9 obtaining (A)the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Concerning this salvation, (B)the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, 11 inquiring (C)what person or time[a] (D)the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating (E)when he predicted (F)the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. 12 (G)It was revealed to them that (H)they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you (I)by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, (J)things into which angels long to look.
Called to Be Holy
13 Therefore, (K)preparing your minds for action,[b] and (L)being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke(B) of the grace that was to come to you,(C) searched intently and with the greatest care,(D) 11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ(E) in them was pointing when he predicted(F) the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow. 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you,(G) when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you(H) by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven.(I) Even angels long to look into these things.
Be Holy
13 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober,(J) set your hope(K) on the grace to be brought to you(L) when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.(M)
