مَزْمُورٌ لِآسَاف.
82 وَقَفَ اللهُ قَاضِيًا بَيْنَ المَلَائِكَةِ فِي المَجْمَعِ الإلَهِيِّ.
2 «حَتَّى مَتَى تُحَرِّفُونَ العَدَالَةَ؟
حَتَّى مَتَى لَا تُحَاسِبُونَ الأشرَارَ؟» سِلَاهْ
3 «احكُمُوا بِالإنْصَافِ لِليَتَامَى وَالضُّعَفَاءِ.
دَافِعُوا عَنِ المُعْدَمِينَ وَالبُؤَسَاءِ.
4 أنقِذُوا المَسَاكِينَ وَالعَاجِزِينَ!
خَلِّصُوهُمْ مِنَ الأشْرَارِ!
5 «لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُمْ عِلمٌ وَلَا فَهْمٌ.
فِي الظُّلمَةِ يَمْشُونَ وَالعَالَمُ حَوْلَهُمْ يَتَهَاوَى!
6 أنَا قُلْتُ إنَّكُمْ آلِهَةٌ.
كُلُّكُمْ أبْنَاءُ العَلِيِّ.
7 لَكِنَّكُمْ كُلَّكُمْ سَتَمُوتُونَ كَبَقِيَّةِ البَشَرِ.
وَسَتَسْقُطُونَ كُلُّكُمْ كَمَا سَقَطَ الحُكَّامُ السَّابِقُونَ.»
8 قُمْ يَا اللهُ وَاحْكُمْ عَلَى الأرْضِ،
فَكُلُّ الأُمَمِ هِيَ لَكَ!

مَزْمُورٌ لآسَافَ.
82 اللهُ يَتَرَأَّسُ سَاحَةَ قَضَائِهِ، وَعَلَى القُضَاةِ يُصْدِرُ حُكْماً. 2 حَتَّى مَتَى تَقْضُونَ بِالظُّلْمِ وَتَنْحَازُونَ إِلَى الأَشْرَارِ؟ 3 احْكُمُوا لِلذَّلِيلِ وَالْيَتِيمِ. وَأَنْصِفُوا الْمِسْكِينَ وَالْبَائِسَ. 4 أَنْقِذُوا الْمِسْكِينَ وَالْفَقِيرَ؛ أَنْقِذُوهُمَا مِنْ قَبْضَةِ الأَشْرَارِ.
5 هُمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَعْرِفَةٍ وَفَهْمٍ، يَتَمَشَّوْنَ فِي الظُّلْمَةِ وَتَتَزَعْزَعُ أُسُسُ الأَرْضِ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ الْجَوْرِ. 6 أَنَا قُلْتُ: «إِنَّكُمْ آلِهَةٌ، وَجَمِيعَكُمْ بَنُو الْعَلِيِّ. 7 لَكِنَّكُمْ سَتَمُوتُونَ كَالْبَشَرِ، وَتَنْتَهِي حَيَاتُكُمْ مِثْلَ كُلِّ الرُّؤَسَاءِ». 8 قُمْ يَا اللهُ قُمْ. دِنِ الأَرْضَ، لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ تَمْتَلِكُ الأُمَمَ بِأَسْرِهَا.

A psalm of Asaph.
2 “How long will you[a] defend the unjust
and show partiality(C) to the wicked?[b](D)
3 Defend the weak and the fatherless;(E)
uphold the cause of the poor(F) and the oppressed.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
5 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.(G)
They walk about in darkness;(H)
all the foundations(I) of the earth are shaken.

82 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
