25 وَاخْتَارَ دَاوُدُ وَرُؤَسَاءُ الْجَيْشِ بَعْضَ أَبْنَاءِ آسَافَ وَهَيْمَانَ وَيَدُوثُونَ، لِقِيَادَةِ خَدَمَاتِ القِيَادَةِ بِإِعْلانِ رِسَالَةِ اللهِ تَصْحَبُهُمْ مُوسِيقَى الْعِيدَانِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالصُّنُوجِ. وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ أَدَّوْا هَذِهِ الْخَدَمَاتِ وَوَاجِبَاتُهُمْ: 2 مِنْ أَبنَاءِ آسَافَ: زَكُّورُ وَيُوسُفُ وَنَثَنْيَا وَأَشَرْئِيلَةُ، وَهُمْ يَخْدُمُونَ تَحْتَ إِشْرَافِ آسَافَ الْمُتَنَبِّئِ فِيِ حَضْرَةِ الْمَلِكِ. 3 مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ يَدُوثُونَ سِتَّةٌ: جَدَلْيَا وَصَرِي وَيِشْعِيَا وَشِمْعِي وَحَشَبْيَا وَمَتَّثْيَا وَهُمْ يَخْدُمونَ تَحْتَ إِشْرَافِ أَبِيهِمْ يَدُوثُونَ الْمُتَنَبِّئِ بِالْعَزْفِ عَلَى الْعُودِ لِلتَّعْبِيرِ عَنِ الْحَمْدِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ لِلرَّبِّ. 4 مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ هَيْمَانَ: بُقِّيَّا، وَمَتَّنْيَا، وَعُزِّيئِيلُ، وَشَبُوئِيلُ، وَيَرِيمُوثُ وَحَنَنْيَا، وَحَنَانِي وَإِيلِيآثَةُ، وَجِدَّلْتِي، وَرُومَمْتِي عَزَرُ، وَيُشْبَقَاشَةُ، وَمَلُوثِي، وَهُوثِيرُ وَمَحْزِيُوثُ. 5 وَجَمِيعُ هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أَبْنَاءُ هَيْمَانَ نَبِيِّ الْمَلِكِ، وَقَدْ رَزَقَهُ الرَّبُّ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ ابْناً وَثَلاثَ بَنَاتٍ، تَحْقِيقاً لِوَعْدِهِ، لِيَرْفَعَ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ. 6 وكَانُوا جَمِيعُهُمْ يُجِيدُونَ الْعَزْفَ عَلَى الصُّنُوجِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالْعِيدَانِ، بِقِيَادَةِ أَبِيهِمْ، لِلاشْتِرَاكِ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ بِالْهَيْكَلِ. وَكَانَ آسَافُ وَيَدُوثُونُ وَهَيْمَانُ يَتَلَقَّوْنَ تَعْلِيمَاتِهِمْ مِنَ الْمَلِكِ. 7 وَقَدْ بَلَغَ عَدَدُهُمْ مَعَ بَقِيَّةِ أَقْرِبَائِهِمْ مِئَتَيْنِ وَثَمَانِيَةً وَثَمَانِينَ لاوِيًّا، وَجَمِيعُهُمْ بَارِعُونَ فِي الْعَزْفِ وَالتَّرْتِيلِ لِلرَّبِّ. 8 وَقَدْ حَدَّدُوا مَسْؤولِيَّاتِ عَمَلِهِمْ عَنْ طَرِيقِ الْقُرْعَةِ، بِغَضِّ النَّظَرِ عَنِ الْعُمْرِ أَوِ الْكَفَاءَةِ. 9 فَوَقَعَتِ الْقُرْعَةُ الأُولَى لِيُوسُفَ مِنْ عَائِلَةِ آسَافَ، وَالثَّانِيَةُ لِجَدَلْيَا وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَأَبْنَائِهِ، وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً، 10 وَالثَّالِثَةُ لِزَكُّورَ، وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 11 وَالرَّابِعَةُ لِيَصْرِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 12 وَالخَامِسَةُ لِنَثَنْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 13 وَالسَّادِسَةُ لِبُقِّيَّا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 14 وَالسَّابِعَةُ لِيَشَرِئِيلَةَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 15 وَالثَّامِنَةُ لِيَشْعِيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 16 وَالتَّاسِعَةُ لِمَتَّنْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 17 وَالعَاشِرَةُ لِشِمْعِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 18 وَالْحَادِيَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِعَزَرْئِيلَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 19 وَالثَّانِيَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِحَشَبْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 20 وَالثَّالِثَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِشُوبَائِيلَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 21 والرَّابِعَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِمَتَّثْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 22 وَالخَامِسَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِيَرِيمُوثَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 23 وَالسَّادِسَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِحَنَنْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 24 وَالسَّابِعَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِيَشْبَقَاشَةَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 25 وَالثَّامِنَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِحَنَانِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 26 وَالتَّاسِعَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِمَلُّوثِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 27 وَالعِشْرُونَ لإِيلِيَآثَةَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 28 وَالحَادِيَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِهُوثِيرَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 29 وَالثَّانِيَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِجِدَّلْتِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 30 وَالثَّالِثَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِمَحْزِيُوثَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً. 31 وَالرَّابِعَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِرُومَمْتِي عَزَرَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

25 وَخَصَّصَ دَاوُدُ وَرُؤَسَاءُ الجَيْشِ لِلخِدْمَةِ أبْنَاءَ آسَافَ وَهَيمَانَ وَيَدُوثُونَ، الَّذِينَ يَتَنَبَّأُونَ بِالقَيَاثِيرِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالصُّنُوجِ. وَهَذِهِ قَائِمَةٌ بِأسْمَاءِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يُؤَدُّونَ هَذِهِ الخِدْمَةَ:
2 مِنْ أبْنَاءِ آسَافَ زَكُّورُ وَيُوسُفُ ونَثَنْيَا وَأشَرئِيلَةُ، وَكَانَ أبْنَاءُ آسَافَ هَؤُلَاءِ يَتَنَبَّأُونَ تَحْتَ إشْرَافِ المَلِكِ.
3 مِنْ يَدُوثُونَ: أبْنَاءُ يَدُوثُونَ جَدَلْيَا وَصَرِي وَيَشْعَيَا وَشِمْعَى وَحَشَبْيَا وَمَتَّثْيَا، وَعَدَدُهُمْ سِتَّةٌ تَحْتَ قِيَادَةِ أبِيهِمْ يَدُوثُونَ الَّذِي يَتَنَبَّأُ بِالقَيثَارَةِ. وَهُمْ مَسْؤُولُونَ عَنْ تَقْدِيمِ الشُّكْرِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ للهِ.
4 مِنْ هَيمَانَ بُقِّيَّا وَمَتَّثْيَا وَعُزِّيئِيلُ وَشَبُوئِيلُ وَيَرِيمُوثُ وَحَنَنْيَا وَحَنَانِي وَإيلِيآثَةُ وَجِدَّلْتِي وَرُومَمْتِي عَزَرُ وَيَشْبَقَاشَةُ وَمَلُوثِي وَهُوثِيرُ وَمَحْزِيُوتُ. 5 كَانَ هَؤُلَاءِ كُلُّهُمْ أبْنَاءَ هَيمَانَ، رَائِي المَلِكِ، وَفْقَ وَعْدِ اللهِ بِأنْ يَجْعَلَهُ قَوِيًّا. وَرَزَقَ اللهُ هَيمَانَ أرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ ابْنًا وَثَلَاثَ بَنَاتٍ. 6 كَانُوا جَمِيعًا يَعْمَلُونَ تَحْتَ إشْرَافِ أبِيهِمْ فِي التَّرْنِيمِ لِبَيْتِ اللهِ بِالصُّنُوجِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالقَيَاثِيرِ مِنْ أجْلِ خِدْمَةِ بَيْتِ اللهِ. وَكَانَ آسَافُ وَهَيمَانُ وَيَدُوثُونَ، تَحْتَ إشْرَافِ المَلِكِ المُبَاشِرِ. 7 وَقَدْ بَلَغَ عَدَدُهُمْ مَعَ أقْرِبَائِهِمُ المُدَرَّبِينَ عَلَى التَّرْنِيمِ للهِ، مِئَتَيْنِ وَثَمَانِيَةٍ وَثَمَانِينَ، وَكَانُوا جَمِيعُهُمْ مَاهِرينَ. 8 وَألقَوْا قُرْعَةً لِتَحْدِيدِ مَهَامِّهِمْ، كِبَارًا وَصِغَارًا، مُعَلِّمينَ وَتَلَامِيذَ.
9 فَوَقَعَتِ القُرْعَةُ الأُولَى لِآسَافَ عَلَى يُوسُفَ.
وَالثَّانِيَةُ عَلَى جَدَلْيَا قَرِيبِهِ، وَأبْنَائِهِ الِاثنَيْ عَشَرَ.
10 وَالثَّالِثَةُ عَلَى زَكُّورَ وَأبْنَائِهِ وَأقْرِبَائِهِ، وَعَدَدُهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ.
11 وَالرَّابِعَةُ عَلَى يَصْرِي وَأبْنَائِهِ وَأقَارِبِهِ، وَعَدَدُهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ.
12 وَالخَامِسَةُ عَلَى نَثَنْيَا وَأبْنَائِهِ وَأقَارِبِهِ، وَعَدَدُهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ.

25 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:
2 Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the Lord, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.
8 And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:
10 The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
11 The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
12 The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13 The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
14 The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

And the number of the skilled men performing their service was: 2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and [a]Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were [b]under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied according to the order of the king. 3 Of (B)Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, [c]Zeri, Jeshaiah, [d]Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, [e]six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord. 4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, [f]Uzziel, [g]Shebuel, [h]Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth. 5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to [i]exalt his (C)horn. 6 All these were under the direction of their father for the music in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and (D)harps, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were (E)under the authority of the king. 7 So the (F)number of them, with their brethren who were instructed in the songs of the Lord, all who were skillful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
8 And they cast lots for their duty, the small as well as the great, (G)the teacher with the student.
