渴慕住在圣殿
可拉后裔的诗，交给乐长，用迦特乐器。
84 万军之耶和华啊，
你的居所多么美好！
2 我深愿进入耶和华的院宇，
我的身心向永活的上帝欢呼。
3 万军之耶和华，
我的王我的上帝啊，
在你的祭坛边，麻雀找到了家，
燕子筑巢养育幼雏。
4 住在你殿里的人有福了！
他们不断地歌颂你。（细拉）
5 靠你得力量、向往到锡安朝见你的人有福了！
6 他们走过流泪谷，
这谷就变成泉源之地，
秋雨使谷中水塘遍布。
7 他们越走越有力，
都要到锡安朝见上帝。
8 万军之上帝耶和华啊，
求你听我的祷告；
雅各的上帝啊，求你垂听。（细拉）
9 上帝啊，求你照看我们的盾牌，
垂顾你所膏立的王。
10 在你的院宇住一日胜过在别处住千日！
我宁愿在我上帝的殿中看门，
也不愿住在恶人的帐篷里。
11 因为耶和华上帝是太阳，是盾牌；
祂赐下恩惠和尊荣，
不留下任何好处不赐给行为正直的人。
12 万军之耶和华啊，
信靠你的人有福了！

A felicidade daquele que habita no santuário de Deus
Para o cantor-mor, sobre Gitite. Salmo para os filhos de Corá
84 Quão amáveis são os teus tabernáculos, Senhor dos Exércitos! 2 A minha alma está anelante e desfalece pelos átrios do Senhor; o meu coração e a minha carne clamam pelo Deus vivo. 3 Até o pardal encontrou casa, e a andorinha, ninho para si e para a sua prole, junto dos teus altares, Senhor dos Exércitos, Rei meu e Deus meu.
4 Bem-aventurados os que habitam em tua casa; louvar-te-ão continuamente. (Selá) 5 Bem-aventurado o homem cuja força está em ti, em cujo coração estão os caminhos aplanados, 6 o qual, passando pelo vale de Baca, faz dele uma fonte; a chuva também enche os tanques. 7 Vão indo de força em força; cada um deles em Sião aparece perante Deus.
8 Senhor, Deus dos Exércitos, escuta a minha oração; inclina os ouvidos, ó Deus de Jacó! (Selá) 9 Olha, ó Deus, escudo nosso, e contempla o rosto do teu ungido. 10 Porque vale mais um dia nos teus átrios do que, em outra parte, mil. Preferiria estar à porta da Casa do meu Deus, a habitar nas tendas da impiedade. 11 Porque o Senhor Deus é um sol e escudo; o Senhor dará graça e glória; não negará bem algum aos que andam na retidão.
12 Senhor dos Exércitos, bem-aventurado o homem que em ti põe a sua confiança.

1 How lovely is your dwelling place,(A)
Lord Almighty!
2 My soul yearns,(B) even faints,
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.(C)
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,(D)
Lord Almighty,(E) my King(F) and my God.(G)
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.[c]
5 Blessed are those whose strength(H) is in you,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.(I)
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;(J)
the autumn(K) rains also cover it with pools.[d]
7 They go from strength to strength,(L)
till each appears(M) before God in Zion.(N)
8 Hear my prayer,(O) Lord God Almighty;
listen to me, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield,[e](P) O God;
look with favor on your anointed one.(Q)
10 Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper(R) in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun(S) and shield;(T)
the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold(U)
from those whose walk is blameless.
12 Lord Almighty,
blessed(V) is the one who trusts in you.
