¹⁰求你因你僕人大衛的緣故，

不要轉臉不理你的受膏者。”

¹¹耶和華實實在在向大衛起了誓，

他必不會收回，他說：

“我要從你的後裔中，

立一位坐在你的王位上。

¹²如果你的子孫謹守我的約，

和我教訓他們的法度，

他們的子孫也必永遠坐在你的王位上。”

¹⁰For the sake of your servant David,
do not reject your anointed one.

¹¹The Lord swore an oath to David,^(A)
    a sure oath he will not revoke:
“One of your own descendants^(B)
    I will place on your throne.
¹²If your sons keep my covenant^(C)
    and the statutes I teach them,
then their sons will sit
    on your throne^(D) for ever and ever.”
