祈求上帝垂顧

大衛的詩，交給樂長。

13 耶和華啊，你忘記我要到何時呢？要到永遠嗎？
你轉臉不顧我要到何時呢？
²我思緒煩亂，日夜憂傷要到何時呢？
我的仇敵佔盡上風要到何時呢？
³我的上帝耶和華啊，
求你垂顧我，回答我，
使我眼睛明亮，
免得我在沉睡中死去，
⁴免得我的仇敵說：「我們戰勝了他！」
免得他們因我敗落而歡喜。
⁵我深信你的慈愛，
我的心要因你的拯救而歡欣。
⁶耶和華一直恩待我，
我要向祂歌唱。

How Long, O Lord?

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

13 ^(A)How long, O Lord? Will you ^(B)forget me forever?
How long will you ^(C)hide your face from me?
²How long must I take ^(D)counsel in my soul
and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

³^(E)Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
^(F)light up my eyes, lest ^(G)I sleep the sleep of death,
⁴^(H)lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,”
lest my foes rejoice because I am ^(I)shaken.

⁵But I have ^(J)trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall ^(K)rejoice in your salvation.
⁶I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me.
