²³耶穌對他們說：「你們是從下面來的，我是從上面來的。你們屬於這世界，我不屬於這世界。 ²⁴所以我說你們將死在自己的罪中，你們如果不相信我就是^[a]那一位，一定會死在自己的罪中。」

²⁵他們問：「你到底是誰？」

耶穌回答說：「我不是早就告訴你們了嗎？
