耶穌在提比哩亞海邊顯現
21 這些事以後，耶穌在提比哩亞海邊又向門徒顯現。他怎樣顯現記在下面。 2 有西門彼得和稱為低土馬的多馬，並加利利的迦拿人拿但業，還有西庇太的兩個兒子，又有兩個門徒，都在一處。 3 西門彼得對他們說：「我打魚去。」他們說：「我們也和你同去。」他們就出去，上了船，那一夜並沒有打著什麼。
得滿網魚
4 天將亮的時候，耶穌站在岸上，門徒卻不知道是耶穌。 5 耶穌就對他們說：「小子，你們有吃的沒有？」他們回答說：「沒有。」 6 耶穌說：「你們把網撒在船的右邊，就必得著。」他們便撒下網去，竟拉不上來了，因為魚甚多。 7 耶穌所愛的那門徒對彼得說：「是主！」那時西門彼得赤著身子，一聽見是主，就束上一件外衣，跳在海裡。 8 其餘的門徒離岸不遠，約有二百肘[a]，就在小船上把那網魚拉過來。 9 他們上了岸，就看見那裡有炭火，上面有魚又有餅。 10 耶穌對他們說：「把剛才打的魚拿幾條來。」 11 西門彼得就去[b]，把網拉到岸上。那網滿了大魚，共一百五十三條。魚雖這樣多，網卻沒有破。 12 耶穌說：「你們來吃早飯。」門徒中沒有一個敢問他「你是誰？」，因為知道是主。 13 耶穌就來拿餅和魚給他們。 14 耶穌從死裡復活以後向門徒顯現，這是第三次。
查彼得愛主之心
15 他們吃完了早飯，耶穌對西門彼得說：「約翰[c]的兒子西門，你愛我比這些更深嗎？」彼得說：「主啊，是的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌對他說：「你餵養我的小羊。」 16 耶穌第二次又對他說：「約翰的兒子西門，你愛我嗎？」彼得說：「主啊，是的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌說：「你牧養我的羊。」 17 第三次對他說：「約翰的兒子西門，你愛我嗎？」彼得因為耶穌第三次對他說「你愛我嗎」，就憂愁，對耶穌說：「主啊，你是無所不知的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌說：「你餵養我的羊。 18 我實實在在地告訴你：你年少的時候，自己束上帶子，隨意往來；但年老的時候，你要伸出手來，別人要把你束上，帶你到不願意的地方。」 19 耶穌說這話，是指著彼得要怎樣死榮耀神。說了這話，就對他說：「你跟從我吧！」 20 彼得轉過來，看見耶穌所愛的那門徒跟著，就是在晚飯的時候靠著耶穌胸膛，說「主啊，賣你的是誰」的那門徒。 21 彼得看見他，就問耶穌說：「主啊，這人將來如何？」 22 耶穌對他說：「我若要他等到我來的時候，與你何干？你跟從我吧！」 23 於是這話傳在弟兄中間，說那門徒不死。其實耶穌不是說他不死，乃是說：「我若要他等到我來的時候，與你何干？」
24 為這些事作見證，並且記載這些事的，就是這門徒。我們也知道他的見證是真的。
25 耶穌所行的事還有許多，若是一一地都寫出來，我想，所寫的書就是世界也容不下了。

Jesús se aparece a siete de sus discípulos
21 Después de esto, Jesús se manifestó otra vez a sus discípulos junto al mar de Tiberias; y se manifestó de esta manera: 2 Estaban juntos Simón Pedro, Tomás llamado el Dídimo, Natanael el de Caná de Galilea, los hijos de Zebedeo, y otros dos de sus discípulos. 3 Simón Pedro les dijo: Voy a pescar. Ellos le dijeron: Vamos nosotros también contigo. Fueron, y entraron en una barca; y aquella noche no pescaron nada.(A)
4 Cuando ya iba amaneciendo, se presentó Jesús en la playa; mas los discípulos no sabían que era Jesús. 5 Y les dijo: Hijitos, ¿tenéis algo de comer? Le respondieron: No. 6 Él les dijo: Echad la red a la derecha de la barca, y hallaréis. Entonces la echaron, y ya no la podían sacar, por la gran cantidad de peces.(B) 7 Entonces aquel discípulo a quien Jesús amaba dijo a Pedro: ¡Es el Señor! Simón Pedro, cuando oyó que era el Señor, se ciñó la ropa (porque se había despojado de ella), y se echó al mar. 8 Y los otros discípulos vinieron con la barca, arrastrando la red de peces, pues no distaban de tierra sino como doscientos codos.
9 Al descender a tierra, vieron brasas puestas, y un pez encima de ellas, y pan. 10 Jesús les dijo: Traed de los peces que acabáis de pescar. 11 Subió Simón Pedro, y sacó la red a tierra, llena de grandes peces, ciento cincuenta y tres; y aun siendo tantos, la red no se rompió. 12 Les dijo Jesús: Venid, comed. Y ninguno de los discípulos se atrevía a preguntarle: ¿Tú, quién eres? sabiendo que era el Señor. 13 Vino, pues, Jesús, y tomó el pan y les dio, y asimismo del pescado. 14 Esta era ya la tercera vez que Jesús se manifestaba a sus discípulos, después de haber resucitado de los muertos.
Apacienta mis ovejas
15 Cuando hubieron comido, Jesús dijo a Simón Pedro: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas más que estos? Le respondió: Sí, Señor; tú sabes que te amo. Él le dijo: Apacienta mis corderos. 16 Volvió a decirle la segunda vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Pedro le respondió: Sí, Señor; tú sabes que te amo. Le dijo: Pastorea mis ovejas. 17 Le dijo la tercera vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Pedro se entristeció de que le dijese la tercera vez: ¿Me amas? y le respondió: Señor, tú lo sabes todo; tú sabes que te amo. Jesús le dijo: Apacienta mis ovejas. 18 De cierto, de cierto te digo: Cuando eras más joven, te ceñías, e ibas a donde querías; mas cuando ya seas viejo, extenderás tus manos, y te ceñirá otro, y te llevará a donde no quieras. 19 Esto dijo, dando a entender con qué muerte había de glorificar a Dios. Y dicho esto, añadió: Sígueme.
El discípulo amado
20 Volviéndose Pedro, vio que les seguía el discípulo a quien amaba Jesús, el mismo que en la cena se había recostado al lado de él, y le había dicho: Señor, ¿quién es el que te ha de entregar?(C) 21 Cuando Pedro le vio, dijo a Jesús: Señor, ¿y qué de este? 22 Jesús le dijo: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga, ¿qué a ti? Sígueme tú. 23 Este dicho se extendió entonces entre los hermanos, que aquel discípulo no moriría. Pero Jesús no le dijo que no moriría, sino: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga, ¿qué a ti?
24 Este es el discípulo que da testimonio de estas cosas, y escribió estas cosas; y sabemos que su testimonio es verdadero.
25 Y hay también otras muchas cosas que hizo Jesús, las cuales si se escribieran una por una, pienso que ni aun en el mundo cabrían los libros que se habrían de escribir. Amén.

Jesús se aparece a siete de sus discípulos
21 Después de esto, Jesús se apareció otra vez a sus discípulos, a orillas del Lago de Tiberias. Sucedió de esta manera: 2 Estaban juntos Simón Pedro, Tomás, al que llamaban el Gemelo, Natanael, que era de Caná de Galilea, los hijos de Zebedeo y otros dos discípulos de Jesús. 3 Simón Pedro les dijo:
—Voy a pescar.
Ellos contestaron:
—Nosotros también vamos contigo.
Fueron, pues, y subieron a una barca; pero aquella noche no pescaron nada. 4 Cuando comenzaba a amanecer, Jesús se apareció en la orilla, pero los discípulos no sabían que era él. 5 Jesús les preguntó:
—Muchachos, ¿no tienen pescado?
Ellos le contestaron:
—No.
6 Jesús les dijo:
—Echen la red a la derecha de la barca, y pescarán.
Así lo hicieron, y después no podían sacar la red por los muchos pescados que tenía. 7 Entonces el discípulo a quien Jesús quería mucho, le dijo a Pedro:
—¡Es el Señor!
Apenas oyó Simón Pedro que era el Señor, se vistió, porque estaba sin ropa, y se tiró al agua. 8 Los otros discípulos llegaron a la playa con la barca, arrastrando la red llena de pescados, pues estaban a cien metros escasos de la orilla. 9 Al bajar a tierra, encontraron un fuego encendido, con un pescado encima, y pan. 10 Jesús les dijo:
—Traigan algunos pescados de los que acaban de sacar.
11 Simón Pedro subió a la barca y arrastró hasta la playa la red llena de grandes pescados, ciento cincuenta y tres; y aunque eran tantos, la red no se rompió. 12 Jesús les dijo:
—Vengan a desayunarse.
Ninguno de los discípulos se atrevía a preguntarle quién era, porque sabían que era el Señor. 13 Luego Jesús se acercó, tomó en sus manos el pan y se lo dio a ellos; y lo mismo hizo con el pescado.
14 Ésta fue la tercera vez que Jesús se apareció a sus discípulos después de haber resucitado.
Palabras de Jesús a Simón Pedro
15 Terminado el desayuno, Jesús le preguntó a Simón Pedro:
—Simón, hijo de Juan, ¿me amas más que éstos?
Pedro le contestó:
—Sí, Señor, tú sabes que te quiero.
Jesús le dijo:
—Cuida de mis corderos.
16 Volvió a preguntarle:
—Simón, hijo de Juan, ¿me amas?
Pedro le contestó:
—Sí, Señor, tú sabes que te quiero.
Jesús le dijo:
—Cuida de mis ovejas.
17 Por tercera vez le preguntó:
—Simón, hijo de Juan, ¿me quieres?
Pedro, triste porque le había preguntado por tercera vez si lo quería, le contestó:
—Señor, tú lo sabes todo: tú sabes que te quiero.
Jesús le dijo:
—Cuida de mis ovejas. 18 Te aseguro que cuando eras más joven, te vestías para ir a donde querías; pero cuando ya seas viejo, extenderás los brazos y otro te vestirá, y te llevará a donde no quieras ir.
19 Al decir esto, Jesús estaba dando a entender de qué manera Pedro iba a morir y a glorificar con su muerte a Dios. Después le dijo:
—¡Sígueme!
El discípulo a quien Jesús quería mucho
20 Al volverse, Pedro vio que detrás venía el discípulo a quien Jesús quería mucho, el mismo que en la cena había estado a su lado y le había preguntado: «Señor, ¿quién es el que te va a traicionar?» 21 Cuando Pedro lo vio, preguntó a Jesús:
—Señor, y a éste, ¿qué le va a pasar?
22 Jesús le contestó:
—Si quiero que él permanezca hasta que yo vuelva, ¿qué te importa a ti? Tú sígueme.
23 Por esto corrió entre los hermanos el rumor de que aquel discípulo no moriría. Pero Jesús no dijo que no moriría. Lo que dijo fue: «Si quiero que él permanezca hasta que yo vuelva, ¿qué te importa a ti?»
24 Éste es el mismo discípulo que da testimonio de estas cosas, y que las ha escrito. Y sabemos que dice la verdad.
25 Jesús hizo muchas otras cosas; tantas que, si se escribieran una por una, creo que en todo el mundo no cabrían los libros que podrían escribirse.

Jesus Appears to Seven Followers
21 Later, Jesus showed himself to his followers by Lake Galilee.[a] This is how it happened: 2 Some of the followers were together. They were Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the two sons of Zebedee, and two other followers. 3 Simon Peter said, “I am going out to fish.”
The other followers said, “We will go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat. They fished that night but caught nothing.
4 Early the next morning Jesus stood on the shore. But the followers did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Then he said to them, “Friends, have you caught any fish?”
They answered, “No.”
6 He said, “Throw your net into the water on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they did this. They caught so many fish that they could not pull the net back into the boat.
7 The follower whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Peter heard him say this, he wrapped his coat around himself. (Peter had taken his clothes off.) Then he jumped into the water. 8 The other followers went to shore in the boat, dragging the net full of fish. They were not very far from shore, only about 100 yards. 9 When the followers stepped out of the boat and onto the shore, they saw a fire of hot coals. There were fish on the fire, and there was bread.
10 Then Jesus said, “Bring some of the fish that you caught.”
11 Simon Peter went into the boat and pulled the net to the shore. It was full of big fish. There were 153. Even though there were so many, the net did not tear. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and eat.” None of the followers dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them. He also gave them the fish.
14 This was now the third time Jesus showed himself to his followers after he was raised from death.
Jesus Talks to Peter
15 When they finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John do you love me more than these?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my lambs.”
16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
17 A third time he said, “Simon son of John do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” Peter said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you!”
He said to him, “Take care of my sheep. 18 I tell you the truth. When you were younger, you tied your own belt and went where you wanted. But when you are old, you will put out your hands and someone else will tie them. They will take you where you don’t want to go.” 19 (Jesus said this to show how Peter would die to give glory to God.) Then Jesus said to Peter, “Follow me!”
20 Peter turned and saw that the follower Jesus loved was walking behind them. (This was the follower who had leaned against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who will turn against you?”) 21 When Peter saw him behind them he asked Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”
22 Jesus answered, “Perhaps I want him to live until I come back. That should not be important to you. You follow me!”
23 So a story spread among the brothers that this follower would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die. He only said, “Perhaps I want him to live until I come back. That should not be important to you.”
24 That follower is the one who is telling these things. He is the one who has now written them down. We know that what he says is true.
25 There are many other things that Jesus did. If every one of them were written down, I think the whole world would not be big enough for all the books that would be written.
