箴言 12:12-14

¹²惡人貪戀壞人的贓物，
    義人的根結出碩果。
¹³惡人被自己的惡言所困，
    但義人可以脫離險境。
¹⁴口出良言，飽嚐美福；
    雙手勤勞，終得回報。

¹²恶人贪恋坏人的赃物，
    义人的根结出硕果。
¹³恶人被自己的恶言所困，
    但义人可以脱离险境。
¹⁴口出良言，饱尝美福；
    双手勤劳，终得回报。

¹²The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers,
but the root of the righteous endures.

¹³Evildoers are trapped by their sinful talk,^(A)
and so the innocent escape trouble.^(B)

¹⁴From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things,^(C)
and the work of their hands brings them reward.^(D)
