¹⁶ Circumcise^(A) your hearts,^(B) therefore, and do not be stiff-necked^(C) any longer. ¹⁷ For the Lord your God is God of gods^(D) and Lord of lords,^(E) the great God, mighty and awesome,^(F) who shows no partiality^(G) and accepts no bribes.^{(H) 18} He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow,^(I) and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.^(J)
