22 Then David said, (A)“This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.” 2 So David commanded to gather the (B)aliens who were in the land of Israel; and he appointed masons to (C)cut hewn stones to build the house of God.

Preparations for the Temple
2 So David gave orders to assemble the foreigners(B) residing in Israel, and from among them he appointed stonecutters(C) to prepare dressed stone for building the house of God.
