5 亚 兰 王 的 元 帅 乃 缦 在 他 主 人 面 前 为 尊 为 大 ， 因 耶 和 华 曾 藉 他 使 亚 兰 人 得 胜 ； 他 又 是 大 能 的 勇 士 ， 只 是 长 了 大 ? 疯 。
2 先 前 亚 兰 人 成 群 地 出 去 ， 从 以 色 列 国 掳 了 一 个 小 女 子 ， 这 女 子 就 服 事 乃 缦 的 妻 。
3 他 对 主 母 说 ： 巴 不 得 我 主 人 去 见 撒 玛 利 亚 的 先 知 ， 必 能 治 好 他 的 大 ? 疯 。
4 乃 缦 进 去 ， 告 诉 他 主 人 说 ， 以 色 列 国 的 女 子 如 此 如 此 说 。
5 亚 兰 王 说 ： 你 可 以 去 ， 我 也 达 信 於 以 色 列 王 。 於 是 乃 缦 带 银 子 十 他 连 得 ， 金 子 六 千 舍 客 勒 ， 衣 裳 十 套 ， 就 去 了 ；
6 且 带 信 给 以 色 列 王 ， 信 上 说 ： 我 打 发 臣 仆 乃 缦 去 见 你 ， 你 接 到 这 信 ， 就 要 治 好 他 的 大 ? 疯 。
7 以 色 列 王 看 了 信 就 撕 裂 衣 服 ， 说 ： 我 岂 是 神 ， 能 使 人 死 使 人 活 呢 ？ 这 人 竟 打 发 人 来 ， 叫 我 治 好 他 的 大 ? 疯 。 你 们 看 一 看 ， 这 人 何 以 寻 隙 攻 击 我 呢 ？
8 神 人 以 利 沙 听 见 以 色 列 王 撕 裂 衣 服 ， 就 打 发 人 去 见 王 ， 说 ： 你 为 甚 麽 撕 了 衣 服 呢 ？ 可 使 那 人 到 我 这 里 来 ， 他 就 知 道 以 色 列 中 有 先 知 了 。
9 於 是 ， 乃 缦 带 着 车 马 到 了 以 利 沙 的 家 ， 站 在 门 前 。
10 以 利 沙 打 发 一 个 使 者 ， 对 乃 缦 说 ： 你 去 在 约 但 河 中 沐 浴 七 回 ， 你 的 肉 就 必 复 原 ， 而 得 洁 净 。
11 乃 缦 却 发 怒 走 了 ， 说 ： 我 想 他 必 定 出 来 见 我 ， 站 着 求 告 耶 和 华 ─ 他 神 的 名 ， 在 患 处 以 上 摇 手 ， 治 好 这 大 ? 疯 。
12 大 马 色 的 河 亚 罢 拿 和 法 珥 法 岂 不 比 以 色 列 的 一 切 水 更 好 麽 ？ 我 在 那 里 沐 浴 不 得 洁 净 麽 ？ 於 是 气 忿 忿 地 转 身 去 了 。
13 他 的 仆 人 进 前 来 ， 对 他 说 ： 我 父 啊 ， 先 知 若 吩 咐 你 做 一 件 大 事 ， 你 岂 不 做 麽 ？ 何 况 说 你 去 沐 浴 而 得 洁 净 呢 ？
14 於 是 乃 缦 下 去 ， 照 着 神 人 的 话 ， 在 约 但 河 里 沐 浴 七 回 ； 他 的 肉 复 原 ， 好 像 小 孩 子 的 肉 ， 他 就 洁 净 了 。
15 乃 缦 带 着 一 切 跟 随 他 的 人 ， 回 到 神 人 那 里 ， 站 在 他 面 前 ， 说 ： 如 今 我 知 道 ， 除 了 以 色 列 之 外 ， 普 天 下 没 有 神 。 现 在 求 你 收 点 仆 人 的 礼 物 。
16 以 利 沙 说 ： 我 指 着 所 事 奉 永 生 的 耶 和 华 起 誓 ， 我 必 不 受 。 乃 缦 再 三 地 求 他 ， 他 却 不 受 。
17 乃 缦 说 ： 你 若 不 肯 受 ， 请 将 两 骡 子 驮 的 土 赐 给 仆 人 。 从 今 以 後 ， 仆 人 必 不 再 将 燔 祭 或 平 安 祭 献 与 别 神 ， 只 献 给 耶 和 华 。
18 惟 有 一 件 事 ， 愿 耶 和 华 饶 恕 你 仆 人 ： 我 主 人 进 临 门 庙 叩 拜 的 时 候 ， 我 用 手 搀 他 在 临 门 庙 ， 我 也 屈 身 。 我 在 临 门 庙 屈 身 的 这 事 ， 愿 耶 和 华 饶 恕 我 。
19 以 利 沙 对 他 说 ： 你 可 以 平 平 安 安 地 回 去 ！ 乃 缦 就 离 开 他 去 了 ； 走 了 不 远 ，
20 神 人 以 利 沙 的 仆 人 基 哈 西 心 里 说 ： 我 主 人 不 愿 从 这 亚 兰 人 乃 缦 手 里 受 他 带 来 的 礼 物 ， 我 指 着 永 生 的 耶 和 华 起 誓 ， 我 必 跑 去 追 上 他 ， 向 他 要 些 。
21 於 是 基 哈 西 追 赶 乃 缦 。 乃 缦 看 见 有 人 追 赶 ， 就 急 忙 下 车 迎 着 他 ， 说 ： 都 平 安 麽 ？
22 说 ： 都 平 安 。 我 主 人 打 发 我 来 说 ： 刚 才 有 两 个 少 年 人 ， 是 先 知 门 徒 ， 从 以 法 莲 山 地 来 见 我 ， 请 你 赐 他 们 一 他 连 得 银 子 ， 两 套 衣 裳 。
23 乃 缦 说 ： 请 受 二 他 连 得 ； 再 三 地 请 受 ， 便 将 二 他 连 得 银 子 装 在 两 个 口 袋 里 ， 又 将 两 套 衣 裳 交 给 两 个 仆 人 ； 他 们 就 在 基 哈 西 前 头 抬 着 走 。
24 到 了 山 冈 ， 基 哈 西 从 他 们 手 中 接 过 来 ， 放 在 屋 里 ， 打 发 他 们 回 去 。
25 基 哈 西 进 去 ， 站 在 他 主 人 面 前 。 以 利 沙 问 他 说 ： 基 哈 西 你 从 哪 里 来 ？ 回 答 说 ： 仆 人 没 有 往 哪 里 去 。
26 以 利 沙 对 他 说 ： 那 人 下 车 转 回 迎 你 的 时 候 ， 我 的 心 岂 没 有 去 呢 ？ 这 岂 是 受 银 子 、 衣 裳 、 买 橄 榄 园 、 葡 萄 园 、 牛 羊 、 仆 婢 的 时 候 呢 ？
27 因 此 ， 乃 缦 的 大 ? 疯 必 沾 染 你 和 你 的 後 裔 ， 直 到 永 远 。 基 哈 西 从 以 利 沙 面 前 退 出 去 ， 就 长 了 大 ? 疯 ， 像 雪 那 样 白 。

以利沙醫治乃縵
5 乃縵是亞蘭王的元帥，甚得亞蘭王器重，因為耶和華藉他使亞蘭人打了許多勝仗。他是英勇的戰士，只是患了痲瘋病。 2 亞蘭人襲擊以色列時，曾擄回一個以色列少女，這少女做了乃縵妻子的婢女。 3 有一天，她對主母說：「要是我主人去見撒瑪利亞的那位先知就好了！他一定能治好我主人的痲瘋病。」 4 乃縵把這以色列少女的話告訴亞蘭王。 5 亞蘭王說：「你去吧。我會寫信給以色列王的。」於是，乃縵帶了三百四十公斤銀子、七十公斤金子和十套衣服，啟程前往以色列。 6 他帶給以色列王的信上寫著：「謹以此信介紹我的臣僕乃縵到你那裡，你要醫好他的痲瘋病。」 7 以色列王讀完信後，就撕裂衣服說：「難道我是上帝嗎？我能操縱人的生死嗎？這人竟叫我醫好一個人的痲瘋病！他只是想找藉口攻打我。」
8 上帝的僕人以利沙聽說以色列王撕裂了衣服，便派人去對王說：「你為什麼撕裂衣服呢？讓那人到我這裡來，我要讓他知道以色列有先知。」 9 乃縵帶領車輛和馬匹到了以利沙的家，站在門口。 10 以利沙派使者出去對乃縵說：「你到約旦河裡洗七次，你的皮膚就會復原，並得到潔淨。」 11 乃縵卻怒沖沖地走了。他說：「我以為他一定會出來見我，為我站著求告他的上帝耶和華，用手在我的患處晃一晃，醫好我的痲瘋病。 12 大馬士革的亞波納河和法爾法河不比以色列所有的河都好嗎？難道我在那裡洗就不能得到潔淨嗎？」於是，他怒沖沖地轉身走了。 13 他的僕人上前對他說：「我父啊，先知若吩咐你做一件大事，難道你會不去做嗎？何況他只是說你去洗洗就可以潔淨！」 14 乃縵就去約旦河，照上帝僕人的話在河裡洗了七次，便潔淨了，皮膚變得像小孩子的一樣。
15 乃縵率領全體隨從回到上帝的僕人那裡，站在他面前說：「如今我才知道，除了以色列，普天下沒有上帝。請你收下僕人的禮物。」 16 以利沙說：「我憑我事奉的永活上帝起誓，我決不接受。」乃縵再三請求，他仍不肯接受。 17 乃縵說：「如果你不肯接受禮物，請你容許僕人用兩頭騾子馱些泥土回去。從此以後，我不再獻燔祭或平安祭給其他神明，只獻給耶和華。 18 但有一件事，願耶和華饒恕僕人。我主人進入臨門廟祭拜時，他會扶著我的手，這樣我也得隨著他彎腰。若我在臨門廟裡彎腰，願耶和華饒恕我。」 19 以利沙對他說：「你安心地走吧。」
20 乃縵剛走不遠，上帝僕人以利沙的僕人基哈西心想：「我主人沒有收亞蘭人乃縵帶來的禮物就讓他走了。我憑永活的耶和華起誓，我一定要追上去，向他要點東西。」 21 他便去追趕乃縵。乃縵見後面有人趕來，就下車迎接他，問他：「一切都好嗎？」 22 基哈西答道：「一切都好。我主人派我來告訴你，剛才有兩位年輕的先知從以法蓮山區來見他，請你賜給他們三十四公斤銀子和兩套衣服。」 23 乃縵說：「請你拿走六十八公斤銀子吧！」並再三請他接受，然後把六十八公斤銀子裝進兩個袋子，連同兩套衣服，交給他的兩個僕人抬走，基哈西跟在他們後面。 24 到了山岡，基哈西接過銀子和衣服，放進屋裡，便讓他們回去了。 25 基哈西進去侍立在以利沙面前，以利沙問他：「基哈西，你剛才去哪裡了？」基哈西答道：「僕人哪裡也沒有去。」 26 以利沙對他說：「那人下車回頭迎接你的時候，我的心不也在那裡嗎？現在豈是接受人家銀子、衣服、橄欖園、葡萄園、牛羊和僕婢的時候？ 27 因此，你和你的後代會永遠沾染乃縵的痲瘋病。」基哈西離開以利沙時，患了痲瘋病，皮膚像雪一樣白。

5 亚兰王的军长乃缦在他的主人面前是一个大人物，很得王的赏识，因为耶和华曾藉他把胜利赐给亚兰。这个人是个勇猛的战士，可惜他是个痲风病人。 2 亚兰人曾经出去结队抢掠，从以色列地掳了一个小女孩，她就侍候乃缦的妻子。 3 她对她的女主人说：“如果我的主人去见撒玛利亚的先知就好了，他必定能治好他的痲风。” 4 于是乃缦去告诉他的主人说：“从以色列地掳回来的女孩子这样这样说。” 5 亚兰王说：“你去吧！我会送一封书信给以色列王的。”于是乃缦去了，手里带着三百公斤银子，约七十公斤金子和十套衣裳。 6 他把信带到以色列王那里，信上说：“这信既已达到你那里，你看见我差去见你的臣仆乃缦，你就要医好他的痲风。” 7 以色列王读了这信后，就撕裂自己的衣服，说：“我是 神，能使人死使人活吗？这人竟派人到我这里来，要我治好他的痲风。请你们想想看，他是要找机会攻击我。”
神藉以利沙治好乃缦
8 神人以利沙听见以色列王撕裂自己的衣服，就打发人去见王说：“你为甚么撕裂自己的衣服呢？请你把他送到我这里来吧！他就知道在以色列中有先知了。” 9 于是乃缦带着他的车马来到，停在以利沙的门前。 10 以利沙差派一个使者去见他说：“你去在约旦河中沐浴七次，你的身体就会复原，得着洁净。” 11 乃缦却发怒走了，他说：“我以为他必会出来，站着求告耶和华他的 神的名，向着患处摇手，洁净这痲风病。 12 大马士革的亚罢拿河和法珥法河，不是比以色列一切河流更好吗？我不是可以在那里沐浴，得着洁净吗？”于是他掉过头来，气忿忿地走了。 13 他的仆人上前，对他说：“我父啊，先知如果吩咐你作一件大事，你不是照着行吗？何况他只是说：‘你去沐浴就得洁净’呢？” 14 于是他下去，在约旦河里浸了七趟，正如神人所吩咐的。他的肌肉就复原，好象小孩子的肌肉，他就得了洁净。
以利沙不接受馈赠
15 乃缦和他的随员又回到神人那里，他进去，站在他面前，说：“看哪！现在我知道除了在以色列以外，全地都没有 神。现在，请你收下你仆人一点礼物吧。” 16 以利沙说：“我指着我所事奉永活的耶和华起誓，我决不收取任何礼物。”乃缦再三促请他接受，都被他拒绝。 17 乃缦说：“你若是不肯收取，就请你赐你仆人两头驴子可以驮的泥土，因为你的仆人不再献燔祭或别的祭给别的神，只献给耶和华。 18 但有一件事，求耶和华赦免你的仆人；我的主人到临门庙那里叩拜的时候，他总是靠在我的手臂上，因此，我也曾在临门庙叩拜。我在临门庙叩拜这事，求耶和华赦免你的仆人。” 19 以利沙说：“你平平安安回去吧。”于是乃缦离开他去了，走了一段路程。
基哈西贪财受罚
20 神人以利沙的仆人基哈西心里说：“看哪，我主人不肯从这亚兰人乃缦手中收取他带来的礼物；我指着永活的耶和华起誓，我要追上他，向他要些东西。” 21 于是基哈西追赶乃缦。乃缦看见有人追上来，就下车迎着他，说：“平安吗？” 22 他说：“平安。我主人派我来说：‘刚才有两位年轻人，都是先知的门徒，从以法莲山地来到我这里，请你给他们三十公斤银子和两套衣服。’” 23 乃缦说：“请你拿六十公斤吧。”他再三促请基哈西，并把六十公斤银子，装在两个袋子里，还有两套衣服，交给两个仆人。他们就在基哈西前面捧着走。 24 到达山冈后，他就从他们手中接过东西，存放在屋子里，然后打发他们离去，他们就走了。 25 他进去，侍立在他主人面前，以利沙对他说：“基哈西，你从哪里来？”他说：“你的仆人没有到过甚么地方。” 26 以利沙对他说：“那人下车转身迎着你的时候，我的心不是和你同去吗？现在不是收受银子、衣服、橄榄园、葡萄园、羊、牛、仆人和婢女的时候。 27 因此，乃缦的痲风要附在你的身上和你后裔的身上，直到永远。”基哈西从以利沙面前离去时，就长了痲风，好象雪那样白。

5 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.
3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
4 And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
5 And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.
6 And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.
7 And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.
8 And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.
12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.
13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?
14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
15 And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
16 But he said, As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.
17 And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the Lord.
18 In this thing the Lord pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon thy servant in this thing.
19 And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way.
20 But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the Lord liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.
21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?
22 And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
23 And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.
24 And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.
25 But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.
26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?
27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
