12 “那时，保佑你百姓的天使长[a]米迦勒必站起来，并且有大艰难，自从有国以来直到此时，未曾有过这样的事。那时，你的百姓凡记录在册上的，必得拯救。 2 睡在地里尘埃中的必有多人醒过来；其中有得永生的，有受羞辱永远被憎恶的。 3 智慧人要发光，如同天上的光；那领许多人归于义的必发光如星，直到永永远远。 4 但以理啊，你要隐藏这话，封闭这书，直到末时。必有许多人往来奔跑[b]，知识[c]就必增长。”
5 我—但以理观看，看哪，另有两个人站立：一个在河这边，一个在河那边。 6 其中一个对那在河水之上、穿细麻衣的说：“这奇异的事要到几时才应验呢？”
7 我听见那在河水之上、穿细麻衣的，向天举起左右手，指着那活到永远的起誓说：“要到一年[d]、两年，又半年，粉碎圣民力量结束的时候，这一切的事就要应验。” 8 我听了却不明白，就说：“我主啊，这些事的结局是怎样呢？”
9 他说：“但以理，去吧！因为这话已经隐藏封闭，直到末时。 10 必有许多人使自己洁净、洁白，且受熬炼；但恶人仍必行恶，没有一个恶人明白，惟独智慧人能明白。 11 从除掉经常献的祭，设立那施行毁灭的可憎之物的时候起，必有一千二百九十日。 12 那等候，直到一千三百三十五日的有福了。
13 “至于你，你要去等候结局。你必安息，到了末期，你必起来，享受你的福分。”

12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
