46 彼勒屈身,尼波弯腰;巴比伦的偶像驮在兽和牲畜上,他们所抬的如今成了重驮,使牲畜疲乏。 2 都一同弯腰屈身,不能保全重驮,自己倒被掳去。
神始终拯救其民
3 “雅各家,以色列家一切余剩的,要听我言!你们自从生下,就蒙我保抱;自从出胎,便蒙我怀揣。 4 直到你们年老,我仍这样;直到你们发白,我仍怀揣。我已造做,也必保抱;我必怀抱,也必拯救。
神至圣无可比拟
5 “你们将谁与我相比,与我同等,可以与我比较,使我们相同呢? 6 那从囊中抓金子,用天平平银子的人,雇银匠制造神像,他们又俯伏,又叩拜。 7 他们将神像抬起,扛在肩上,安置在定处,它就站立,不离本位。人呼求它,它不能答应,也不能救人脱离患难。
耶和华所言必成
8 “你们当想念这事,自己做大丈夫!悖逆的人哪,要心里思想! 9 你们要追念上古的事,因为我是神,并无别神。我是神,再没有能比我的。 10 我从起初指明末后的事,从古时言明未成的事,说:‘我的筹算必立定,凡我所喜悦的,我必成就。’ 11 我召鸷鸟从东方来,召那成就我筹算的人从远方来。我已说出,也必成就;我已谋定,也必做成。
12 “你们这些心中顽梗,远离公义的,当听我言! 13 我使我的公义临近,必不远离,我的救恩必不迟延。我要为以色列我的荣耀,在锡安施行救恩。

巴比倫的假神
46 彼勒屈膝跪下,
尼波彎腰降服。
這些巴比倫的偶像成為野獸和牲畜背上的重負,
使其疲憊不堪。
2 它們一同屈膝降服,
不但救不了被擄的巴比倫人,
自己也被擄去。
3 耶和華說:「雅各家啊,以色列家的餘民啊,要聽我說。
你們一出生,我就照顧你們;
一出母胎,我就呵護你們。
4 即使你們年老髮白的時候,
我仍然一如既往地扶持你們。
我造了你們,必照顧你們,
扶持你們,拯救你們。
5 「你們拿誰與我相比,
使之與我同等呢?
你們把誰比作我,
使之與我相同呢?
6 有些人從囊中取金子,
又用天平稱銀子,
雇銀匠製造神像,
然後向它俯伏叩拜。
7 他們把神像抬起來扛在肩上,
找個地方把它安置好,
它就在那裡呆立不動。
人向它呼求,它不能回應,
也不能救人脫離困境。
8 「你們這些悖逆的人啊,
要將這些事銘記在心。
9 你們要記住古時發生的事,
因為我是獨一無二的上帝,
再沒有誰能與我相比。
10 我從太初就預言末後的事,
從亙古就宣佈將來的事。
我的旨意必成就,

Gods of Babylon
46 Bel(A) bows down, Nebo stoops low;
their idols(B) are borne by beasts of burden.[a]
The images that are carried(C) about are burdensome,
a burden for the weary.
2 They stoop and bow down together;
unable to rescue the burden,
they themselves go off into captivity.(D)
3 “Listen(E) to me, you descendants of Jacob,
all the remnant(F) of the people of Israel,
you whom I have upheld since your birth,(G)
and have carried(H) since you were born.(I)
4 Even to your old age and gray hairs(J)
I am he,(K) I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain(L) you and I will rescue you.
5 “With whom will you compare me or count me equal?
To whom will you liken me that we may be compared?(M)
6 Some pour out gold from their bags
and weigh out silver on the scales;
they hire a goldsmith(N) to make it into a god,
and they bow down and worship it.(O)
7 They lift it to their shoulders and carry(P) it;
they set it up in its place, and there it stands.
From that spot it cannot move.(Q)
Even though someone cries out to it, it cannot answer;(R)
it cannot save(S) them from their troubles.
8 “Remember(T) this, keep it in mind,
take it to heart, you rebels.(U)
9 Remember the former things,(V) those of long ago;(W)
I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me.(X)
10 I make known the end from the beginning,(Y)
from ancient times,(Z) what is still to come.(AA)
I say, ‘My purpose will stand,(AB)
and I will do all that I please.’
11 From the east I summon(AC) a bird of prey;(AD)
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that I will bring about;
what I have planned,(AE) that I will do.(AF)
12 Listen(AG) to me, you stubborn-hearted,(AH)
you who are now far from my righteousness.(AI)
13 I am bringing my righteousness(AJ) near,
it is not far away;
and my salvation(AK) will not be delayed.
I will grant salvation to Zion,(AL)
my splendor(AM) to Israel.
