34 І вийшов Мойсей із моавських степів на гору Нево, на верхів'я Пісґі, що навпроти Єрихону, а Господь дав йому побачити ввесь Край: Ґілеад аж до Дану,
2 і ввесь Нефталим, і край Єфрема та Манасії, і ввесь край Юди аж до Останнього моря,
3 і південь, і рівнину долини Єрихону, пальмового міста аж до Цоару.
4 І сказав Господь до нього: Оце той Край, що Я присягнув Авраамові, Ісакові та Якову, говорячи: Насінню твоєму Я дам його. Я вчинив, що ти бачиш його власними очима, та туди не перейдеш.
5 І впокоївся там Мойсей, Господній раб, у моавському краї на приказ Господа.
6 І похований він у долині в моавському краї навпроти Бет-Пеору, і ніхто не знає гробу його аж до цього дня.
7 А Мойсей був віку ста й двадцяти літ, коли він помер, та не затемнилось око його, і вологість його не зменшилась.
8 І оплакували Мойсея Ізраїлеві сини в моавських степах тридцять день, та й покінчилися дні оплакування жалоби за Мойсеєм.
9 А Ісус, син Навинів, був повний духа мудрости, бо Мойсей поклав свої руки на нього. І слухали його Ізраїлеві сини, і робили, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві.
10 І не появився вже в Ізраїлі пророк, як Мойсей, що знав його Господь обличчя-в-обличчя,
11 щодо всіх ознак та чуд, що Господь послав його чинити в єгипетськім краї фараонові й усім рабам його та всьому його краєві,
12 і щодо всієї тієї сильної руки, і щодо всього того страху великого, що Мойсей чинив на очах усього Ізраїля.

Смерть Мойсея
34 Тоді Мойсей зійшов на гору Нево з Моавської долини до верхівки Пізґи, що навпроти Єрихона. І показав Господь йому всі землю від Ґілеада до Дана[a] 2 і весь край Нафталі, землю Ефраїма й Манассії, усю землю Юди аж до Середземного моря, 3 Неґев і долину Єрихона, пальмового міста, аж до Зоара. 4 Тоді Господь промовив до нього: «Ось земля, яку Я обіцяв Аврааму, Ісааку та Якову, що дам її твоїм нащадкам. Я дав тобі побачити її на власні очі, але ти не перейдеш туди».
5 Тоді Мойсей, слуга Господа, помер у землі Моавській, як і сказав Господь. 6 Він поховав Мойсея в долині в землі Моавській навпроти Бет-Пеора, але й дотепер ніхто не знає, де його могила. 7 Мойсею було сто двадцять років, коли він помер. Очі його не були слабкими, і сила його ще не зникла. 8 Сини Ізраїлю плакали за Мойсеєм тридцять днів по долинах Моаву.
Ісус стає новим провідником
Тоді скінчилися дні жалоби по Мойсею.
9 Тоді Ісус, син Навина, сповнився духом мудрості, бо Мойсей поклав руки свої на нього[b]. Тож ізраїльтяни слухали його й чинили, як Господь заповідав Мойсею.
10 І не було більше в Ізраїлі такого пророка, як Мойсей. Господь розмовляв з ним віч-на-віч. 11 Не було більше такого, хто вчинив усі знаки й дива, які Господь послав його зробити в землі Єгипетській над фараоном і всіма його начальниками, і всією його землею. 12 Бо ніхто ніколи не мав такої сили і не вершив таких страшних і дивовижних чудес, що їх являв Мойсей перед очима всього Ізраїлю.

The Death of Moses
34 Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo(A) from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah,(B) across from Jericho.(C) There the Lord showed(D) him the whole land—from Gilead to Dan,(E) 2 all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea,(F) 3 the Negev(G) and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms,(H) as far as Zoar.(I) 4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath(J) to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(K) when I said, ‘I will give it(L) to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross(M) over into it.”
5 And Moses the servant of the Lord(N) died(O) there in Moab, as the Lord had said. 6 He buried him[a] in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor,(P) but to this day no one knows where his grave is.(Q) 7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old(R) when he died, yet his eyes were not weak(S) nor his strength gone.(T) 8 The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab(U) thirty days,(V) until the time of weeping and mourning(W) was over.
9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit[b] of wisdom(X) because Moses had laid his hands on him.(Y) So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 Since then, no prophet(Z) has risen in Israel like Moses,(AA) whom the Lord knew face to face,(AB) 11 who did all those signs and wonders(AC) the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials(AD) and to his whole land. 12 For no one has(AE) ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds(AF) that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

34 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,
3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
