Приветствие семи общинам верующих

1 Откровение Исо Масеха[a], данное Ему Всевышним для того, чтобы показать Своим рабам, что должно вскоре произойти. Исо сообщил это откровение через Своего ангела Своему рабу Иохану, 2 и сейчас Иохан как свидетель рассказывает обо всём, что он видел, – это слово Всевышнего и свидетельство Исо Масеха[b].

3 Благословен тот, кто читает, и те, кто слушает эти пророческие слова и исполняет их, потому что время уже близко.

4 От Иохана семи общинам верующих в провинции Азия[c]. Благодать и мир вам[d] от Того, Кто есть, Кто был и Кто придёт,[e] и от семи духов,[f] находящихся у Его трона, 5 и от Исо Масеха, истинного свидетеля, первенствующего среди воскресших из мёртвых,[g] и властелина царей земли. Он любит нас и Своей кровью освободил нас от наших грехов. 6 Он сделал нас Царством, священнослужителями Своего Бога и Отца[h]. Ему да будет слава и власть вовеки! Аминь.

7 И вот, Он придёт, окружённый облаками,[i]
    и все увидят Его собственными глазами,
включая и тех, которые Его пронзили,
    и все народы земли будут рыдать перед Ним.[j]
        Это действительно будет так, аминь!

8 Я – Владыка всего: от А до Я![k] – говорит Вечный[l] Бог, – Я Тот, Кто есть, Кто был и Кто придёт, Повелитель Сил!

Видение Иохана на острове Патмос

9 Я, Иохан, – ваш брат и последователь Исо, ваш соучастник в страдании, в Царстве и в терпении.

Находясь в заключении на острове, называемом Патмос[m], за слово Всевышнего и за свидетельство об Исо, 10 в день Повелителя[n] я был в духе и в этом состоянии услышал позади себя громкий, как труба, голос. 11 Голос сказал мне:

– Запиши в свиток всё, что ты видишь, и пошли это семи общинам верующих: в Эфес, Измир, Пергам, Фиатиру, Сарды, Филадельфию и Лаодикию.

12 Я обернулся на голос, который говорил со мной, и увидел семь золотых светильников. 13 Среди светильников стоял Некто, похожий на человека.[o] Он был одет в длинное одеяние, а грудь Его была опоясана золотым поясом. 14 Волосы Его головы были белы, как отбелённая шерсть или как снег, а глаза были как пылающий огонь;[p] 15 ноги Его – как латунь, раскалённая в печи, и голос Его напоминал шум могучих вод.[q] 16 Он держал в правой руке семь звёзд, из Его рта выходил обоюдоострый меч, а лицо Его было подобно ярко сияющему солнцу.[r]

17 Когда я увидел Его, то пал к Его ногам как мёртвый. Он положил на меня Свою правую руку и сказал:

– Не бойся, Я – первый, и Я – последний,[s] 18 Я жив! Я был мёртв, но вот, Я навеки жив! У Меня ключи от смерти и ада[t]!

19 – Напиши обо всём, что ты видел, что происходит сейчас и что произойдёт потом. 20 Тайна семи звёзд, которые ты видел в Моей правой руке, и семи золотых светильников такова: семь звёзд – это вестники[u] семи общин верующих, а семь светильников – это сами семь общин верующих.

  8. Отк 1:6 То, что Всевышний назван Отцом Исо Масеха, не означает, что у Всевышнего есть сын, который был зачат обычным путём. В древности, когда на иудейский престол восходил новый монарх, Всевышний называл его Своим сыном (см. Заб. 2:6-7), а значит, царь мог бы, в свою очередь, называть Всевышнего своим Отцом (см. 2 Цар. 7:14; Заб. 88:27). Ко времени Исо многие иудеи стали применять титул «Сын Всевышнего» по отношению к ожидаемому ими Масеху – Спасителю и Царю. Кроме того, термин «Отец Исо Масеха» говорит о вечных взаимоотношениях Всевышнего и Масеха, раскрывая сходство характеров и единство природы Этих Личностей, на понятном нам примере – близких взаимоотношениях отца и сына (см. 1 Ин. 2:23).

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, (A)which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must [a]shortly take place. And (B)He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 (C)who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things (D)that he saw. 3 (E)Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for (F)the time is near.

Greeting the Seven Churches

4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from Him (G)who is and (H)who was and who is to come, (I)and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, (J)the faithful (K)witness, the (L)firstborn from the dead, and (M)the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him (N)who [b]loved us (O)and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has (P)made us [c]kings and priests to His God and Father, (Q)to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

7 Behold, He is coming with (R)clouds, and every eye will see Him, even (S)they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

8 (T)“I am the Alpha and the Omega, [d]the Beginning and the End,” says the [e]Lord, (U)“who is and who was and who is to come, the (V)Almighty.”

Vision of the Son of Man

9 I, John, [f]both your brother and (W)companion in the tribulation and (X)kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 (Y)I was in the Spirit on (Z)the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me (AA)a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, [g]“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches [h]which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned (AB)I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 (AC)and in the midst of the seven lampstands (AD)One like the Son of Man, (AE)clothed with a garment down to the feet and (AF)girded about the chest with a golden band. 14 His head and (AG)hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and (AH)His eyes like a flame of fire; 15 (AI)His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and (AJ)His voice as the sound of many waters; 16 (AK)He had in His right hand seven stars, (AL)out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, (AM)and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. 17 And (AN)when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. Introduction and Salutation

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show to His servants things which must soon take place. He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bears record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written in it, for the time is near.

4 John,

To the seven churches which are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

7 Look! He is coming with clouds,
    and every eye will see Him,
even those who pierced Him.
    And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him.
Even so, Amen.

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

A Vision of Christ

9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the isle that is called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a great voice like a trumpet, 11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and “What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”

12 I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And when I turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks, 13 and in the midst of the seven candlesticks was one like a Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and with a golden sash wrapped around the chest. 14 The hair on His head was white like wool, as white as snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire. 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters. 16 He had in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword. His appearance was like the sun shining brightly.

17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though I were dead. Then He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, though I was dead. Look! I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

19 “Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this. 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.
