Два сведока
11 Потом добих трску сличну штапу за мерење, па ми рекоше: »Устани и измери Божији храм и жртвеник и оне који се у њему клањају Богу. 2 Спољашње двориште Храма изостави; немој да га мериш, јер је дато незнабошцима и они ће четрдесет два месеца газити Светим градом. 3 А двојици својих сведока даћу да обучени у кострет пророкују хиљаду двеста шездесет дана.«
4 Они су две маслине и два свећњака што стоје пред Господаром земље. 5 Ако неко покуша да им науди, ватра сукне из њихових уста и прождре њихове непријатеље. Ако неко хоће да им науди, баш тако мора да погине. 6 Они имају власт да затворе небо, да не пада киша у време њиховог пророковања. А имају и власт да воде претворе у крв и да земљу ударе сваком врстом пошасти кад год пожеле.
7 Када заврше своје сведочење, с њима ће заратити Звер која излази из Бездана. Она ће их победити и убити, 8 и њихови лешеви ће лежати на улици великога града који се у пренесеном[a] смислу зове Содома и Египат, где је и њихов Господ био распет. 9 Три и по дана ће људи из сваке народности, племена, језика и народа гледати њихове лешеве и неће дати да буду положени у гроб. 10 Становници земље ће се радовати и веселити њиховој пропасти и слати поклоне један другом, јер су их та два пророка намучила.
11 Али, после три и по дана, уђе у пророке Божији дах живота, па они стадоше на своје ноге и силан страх спопаде оне који су их гледали.
12 Тада зачуше силан глас са неба који им рече: »Попните се овамо!«
И они се на облаку попеше на небо наочиглед својих непријатеља.
13 И баш у том часу настаде велик земљотрес и десетина града се сруши. Од земљотреса погину седам хиљада људи, па се остали уплашише и дадоше славу небескоме Богу.
14 Други Јао прође. Ево ускоро долази трећи!
Седма труба
15 Седми анђео затруби, и на небу се зачуше силни гласови који су говорили:
»Царство света постало је царство нашега Господа
и његовога Христа,
и он ће владати довека!«
16 А двадесет четири старешине, које су седеле на својим престолима пред Богом, падоше ничице и поклонише се Богу, 17 говорећи:
»Захваљујемо ти, Господе Боже, Сведржитељу,
који јеси и који си био,
што си узео своју велику силу
и почео да владаш!
18 Народи се разгневише,
и дође твој гнев
и време да се суди мртвима,
да се награде твоје слуге пророци
и свети и сви који се боје твога имена, мали и велики,
и да се униште они који су уништавали земљу!«
19 Тада се отвори Божији храм на небу и указа се Ковчег његовог савеза у његовом Храму. Севнуше муње, разлегоше се тутњава и грмљавина, настаде земљотрес и поче да пада силан грȁд.

11 Затим ми је дата трска слична штапу, те ми је речено: „Устани и измери храм Божији и жртвеник, те изброј оне што се клањају у њему.“ 2 А спољашње двориште храма изостави, не мери га, јер је дато многобошцима, који ће газити светим градом четрдесет два месеца. 3 А ја ћу послати двојицу својих сведока, да у кострети пророкују хиљаду две стотине шездесет дана. 4 Они су две маслине и два свећњака који стоје пред Господарем земље. 5 А ако ко покуша да им науди, огањ излази из њихових уста и прождире њихове непријатеље. Ако неко хоће да им науди, мора овако да погине. 6 Они имају моћ да затворе небо да не пада киша док пророкују, као и моћ да воду претворе у крв и да ударе земљу свакојаким пошастима, кад год то зажеле.
7 А кад заврше своје сведочанство, Звер која излази из бездана заратиће против њих, па ће их победити и убити. 8 Њихова телеса лежаће на тргу великог града, који се у духовном смислу зове „Содома“ и „Египат“, где је и њихов Господ био разапет. 9 Људи из разних народа, племена, језика, и народности гледаће њихова телеса три и по дана, и неће дозволити да се њихова телеса сахране у гроб. 10 А становници земље ликоваће над њима и славити, те слати дарове једни другима, јер су та два пророка намучила становнике земље.
11 Али након три и по дана, Бог удахну дух живота у њих, те они стадоше на своје ноге, па велики страх обузе оне који су ово гледали. 12 Тада зачуше снажан глас са неба како им говори: „Узнесите се овамо!“ Они се узнеше на облаку у небо, док су их њихови непријатељи гледали.
13 У тај час настаде велики земљотрес, те сруши десети део града и усмрти седам хиљада људи. Остали се уплашише, па прославише Бога небеског. 14 Друга невоља прође, ево, убрзо долази трећа.
15 Кад је седми анђео затрубио, одјекнуше снажни гласови на небу, који су говорили:
„Царство света постаде Царство нашег Господа
и његовог Христа.
Он ће владати од сад и довека.“
16 А двадесет четири старешине које седе на својим престолима пред Богом, падоше ничице на земљу и поклонише се Богу, 17 говорећи:
„Захваљујемо ти, Господе,
Боже, Сведржитељу,
који јеси и који си био,
што си узео своју велику силу и зацарио се.
18 Побеснеше народи,
али твој гнев дође,
и време да судиш мртвима.
Дође време да наградиш твоје слуге, пророке,
твој народ, и оне што ти се клањају,
мале и велике,
а да уништиш оне што упропашћују земљу.“
19 Затим се отворио Божији храм на небу, и у њему се показао Ковчег његовог савеза. Тада ударише муње, тутњава, громови, потрес и велики град.

The Two Witnesses
11 I was given a reed like a measuring rod(A) and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court;(B) do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.(C) They will trample on the holy city(D) for 42 months.(E) 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses,(F) and they will prophesy for 1,260 days,(G) clothed in sackcloth.”(H) 4 They are “the two olive trees”(I) and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”[a](J) 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies.(K) This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.(L) 6 They have power to shut up the heavens(M) so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying;(N) and they have power to turn the waters into blood(O) and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast(P) that comes up from the Abyss(Q) will attack them,(R) and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city(S)—which is figuratively called Sodom(T) and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.(U) 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation(V) will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.(W) 10 The inhabitants of the earth(X) will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts,(Y) because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.
11 But after the three and a half days(Z) the breath[b] of life from God entered them,(AA) and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.”(AB) And they went up to heaven in a cloud,(AC) while their enemies looked on.
13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake(AD) and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory(AE) to the God of heaven.(AF)
14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.(AG)
The Seventh Trumpet
15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet,(AH) and there were loud voices(AI) in heaven, which said:
“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,(AJ)
and he will reign for ever and ever.”(AK)
16 And the twenty-four elders,(AL) who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces(AM) and worshiped God, 17 saying:
“We give thanks(AN) to you, Lord God Almighty,(AO)
the One who is and who was,(AP)
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.(AQ)
18 The nations were angry,(AR)
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,(AS)
and for rewarding your servants the prophets(AT)
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small(AU)—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
19 Then God’s temple(AV) in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant.(AW) And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder,(AX) an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.(AY)

11 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
