42 Морето се подигна против Вавилон; Покрит биде под многото му вълни.
43 Градовете му станаха пустота, Безводна земя, и пустиня, Земя, в която не живее никой човек, Нито минава през нея човешки син.
44 Аз ще накажа Вила във Вавилон, И ще извадя от устата му това, което е погълнал; Народите няма да се съберат вече при него; И самата вавилонска стена ще падне.

Jeremiah 51:42-44
New International Version
42 The sea will rise over Babylon;
its roaring waves(A) will cover her.
43 Her towns will be desolate,
a dry and desert(B) land,
a land where no one lives,
through which no one travels.(C)
44 I will punish Bel(D) in Babylon
and make him spew out(E) what he has swallowed.
The nations will no longer stream to him.
And the wall(F) of Babylon will fall.
