11 (A)И Господ ми каза:
Недей се моли за доброто на този народ.
12 (B)Даже ако постят, няма да послушам вика им,
и ако принесат всеизгаряния и приноси,
няма да благоволя към тях;
а ще ги довърша с меч, глад и мор.
13 (C)Тогава казах: Уви, Господи Йехова!
Ето, пророците им казват:
Няма да видите меч, нито ще има глад у вас,
а ще ви дам сигурен мир на това място.

11 Then the Lord said to me, “Do not pray(A) for the well-being of this people. 12 Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry;(B) though they offer burnt offerings(C) and grain offerings,(D) I will not accept(E) them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword,(F) famine(G) and plague.”(H)
13 But I said, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! The prophets(I) keep telling them, ‘You will not see the sword or suffer famine.(J) Indeed, I will give you lasting peace(K) in this place.’”

False Prophets to Be Punished
11 Then the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for the well-being of these people.(A) 12 If they fast, I will not hear their cry of despair. If they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. Rather, I will finish them off by sword, famine, and plague.”(B)
13 And I replied, “Oh no, Lord God! The prophets are telling them, ‘You won’t see sword or suffer famine. I will certainly give you lasting peace in this place.’”(C)
