2 (A)И ще изпратя пред теб ангел, и ще изгоня ханаанеца, аморееца, хета, ферезееца, евееца и йевусееца;
3 (B)и той ще ви заведе в земя, където текат мляко и мед; понеже Аз няма да вървя между вас (защото сте твърдоглав народ), да не би да ви довърша по пътя.
4 (C)Когато народът чу това лошо известие, се наскърби; и никой не си сложи украшения.

Exodus 33:2-4
New International Version
2 I will send an angel(A) before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.(B) 3 Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey.(C) But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked(D) people and I might destroy(E) you on the way.”
4 When the people heard these distressing words, they began to mourn(F) and no one put on any ornaments.
