18 After these things Paul departed from Athens and went to Corinth.

18 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;

⁵^(A)When Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was ^(B)compelled ^[a]by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

⁵And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

⁸For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.

⁸For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
